Mud Jacking FAQs

  • What is Mud Jacking?

Mud Jacking is a less expensive alternative to replacing concrete. We can usually raise concrete for less than half the cost of pouring new concrete. However, the savings maybe even more significant since, with concrete raising, the prices of demolition, removal, and landscaping are eliminated.

Our expert team can complete your concrete project quickly and efficiently with minimal disruption. You will be able to walk or drive on the concrete surface either the same day or the next day. Concrete lifting is a method used to repair unstable soil conditions without tearing out and replacing good concrete.

  • What Can Be Mud Jacked?

Essentially any concrete slab can be mud jacked, including sidewalks, patios, driveways, pool decks, garage floors, industrial food slabs, and stairs/stoops.

  • What Is Void Filling?

The void filling is done by pumping our grout mixture through a hose or nozzle to fill in hollow areas under the slabs left by animal habitation or erosion.

  • When Can You Use Repaired Areas?

You can walk on slabs as soon as work has been completed in most cases. When driveways or garage floors are lifted, we recommend a 48 hour waiting period before vehicles drive on them.

  • Can You See The Patched Holes?

The holes will be noticeable at first but will blend in over time.

  • Will I Need To Be Home When The Estimate Is Completed?

No, unless access is needed to the interior to complete the estimate.

  • Will I Need To Be Home When Work Is Performed?

No, as long as the work is on the exterior. All that we request is access to an outside water spigot for cleanup after the job is completed.
